Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
True friends are there to help you through good and bad. They are few and far between when you find someone treasure them.

In that life called ' real' I have close friends. Two from before illness and two during it.Others around too.
They all know when I need to ' disappear' a while.
A lot of potential friends I meet are almost shocked by the openness I have.
I'd guess that most BPs are open and want a deeper connection and honesty.
That's why friends are rare to find.Because we are functioning on a different level, not necessarily special..but not odd either , by any stretch of a sane person's imagination.
