Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

i want to be hugged and for someone to make me tea. and help me get my momentum going again.
i want to go outside and to the beach and on a bike ride and for a walk with someone or a few people who get me..
and i just wanna be held by someone i can trust and know i can trust... :(
i need someone to hang out with me while i clean my space, and do paperwork.
I used to have a lot of friends but bipolar seems to have changed a lot of that.
I hope to keep making friends here, but I understand what you mean lionne noir, I get lonely too. It would be nice to have someone to hang out with in real life other than just people I work with.
i feel for ya
Good luck on your quest.
well hopefully you will find lots of friends here.
I think you will soon find that DS is addicting.
The rule in my head - is if I WANT Friends, I NEED to be a friend - I got to support groups, and ask people I like if they want to have coffee after, I use the phone - real life support groups are good, as they ARE ME and understand, and want to live and laugh too - so we practice with each other...
I also call old friends I liked I thought were boring before : ) The new friends I've made outside support groups, I have two I show all my Large Bipolar personality and they have not asked and I have not told.... they think I'm excitable, and work from my home...
Practice with me! We need to understand people MORE then we want them to understand US - that's a start, in my world..
thanks guys.
what you say about listening and being the one to call, or say hi i think is right Autumn.
:) yeah Percy sounds nice, i have a few little guys like that i can hang with too.
overall, very fortunate.. for DS, a few rl friends, and definitely my mom and grandmother.
i understand, know and feel the 'disconnect,' though, and i don't mind bouncing, but sometimes i actually just get stuck cause i think i need the face to face stimulation.
