yep, it can get bad. its normal but you have to try really hard to not do it.

not like beat the shit out of me. like yell or disagee with shit and it fucks up ur whole day for no reson well both ur day over sumthin so stupid

My now ex-lover and I have been having a really tough time for a year and a 1/2...ultimately he just couldn't understand BP and couldn't take it anymore. How many time do you try to express something, but when you try to explain it, the words all come out wrone, or they don't make sense? That ended it. He moved on quick though.

1 to 3 times a yr sometimes once a year we've been together 12yrs so approx 23 fights in 12yrs

I've been married for 16 years we don't fight much we have developed selective hearing and only fight when I am Manic and out of control..he has to gain control at that point so I don't get hyper manic

My husband and I fight more when were not together than when we are. He is a over the road truck driver. Sometimes we don't fight at all but then when we do we explode on each other.

My life has been peaceful since my most recent divorce 10 years ago. The last couple years we didn't fight so much as just quietly despise each other. That plus the fact that I still haven't seen any reason to get into another relationship brings a welcome measure of calm. It's lots better having friends. If we disagree it's no big deal.
Draiken, I think somebody's been telling you it's all your bipolar fault, but don't believe it. Bipolars aren't the only ones who can be irrational, demanding and controlling!

I pick my battles with my husband. I don't jump at every little thing that annoys me. I chose to fight over things that are important to me. We have lots of discussions but very few "fights". All in all we are very happy and he understands my bp for the most part.

26 years married, maybe 5 really big blow ups, yelling and screaming, otherwise, quick, short and to the point argument here and there but even that's not often. We're pretty good at talking things out.
