Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I hate to admit it. But I feel so depressed. I'm grieving the illusion of relationship. He sold me a dream. Numerous times he told me to fuck off and die. I flirted with suicide many times in that relatioship. I feel alone I'm not sure what my purpose in life is. I'm accepting my infertility. But whats the point in living. I have nothing here. At 34 its been this way since age 18. I'm not into meetup.com I'm not into church after leaving jehovah witnesses. I'm not a people person. People don't like me,. Estranged from my family. I've stayed strong to break a generational trend of incest in that family. I am strong for walking away from them. I won't adopt. I won't pay for an embryo. This is the loneliest I've ever felt in my life. I feel scared I'll never carry a human. I'm not a real woman. I have nothing. My hope is Jesus. My Strength is Jehovah. I just wish the lord would take me out. Its really pointless for me. I'm tired emotionally rundown. I'm trying to keep fighting but this sucks. I'm going to die an old lady with CNAs finding me. My will will be to donate to a homeless shelter. I'm so over it. I feel like lame.

Hey All...I hope that you have a lovely, peaceful beginning of your weekI have a bunch of chores that need doing but may put them off til tomorrow and just hang out with my landlord/roomie todayWhat about you?...Anything special going on?Have a great day and take good care of you!!..Xo
I learned a valuable lesson when I let go of control...mental health vs. my kidney function. Like you, depression dug me in to my isolating worm hole for nearly a year, actually on and off for 4 years. I've been fighting bp for longer than you've been alive, since 1984, I'm 66.
Please sit down, take a breath, and write out all you have accomplished...for me, when I'm totally depleted a list of what I've overcome, what I've accomplished helps me to know in my heart I'll 'push through another day'. This meditation is one of my favorites to sleep. Hugs

I would treat yourself gently and recognize that you need some time to grieve as ML wrote
Baby steps are good steps.... Another hug and a blessing.....xo
Stress for me is a Huge trigger to my emotional levels, like a yo yo despite taking the lamictal, the lows really go low. When this happens, I go into a place of only looking at the past or the future, something I can't change and then something I don't know.....the future you can 'prepare' for by doing the best you can to maintain balance and good health.
In your writings, do you happen to have a page dedicated to things that bring joy or happiness...thoughts, music, activities, I forget about these things when I'm in the hole, or just don't 'feel' like doing anything which keeps me in the hole....move a muscle and change a thought :)
I escaped a similar situation twenty-four years ago and it was the best decision I ever made even if it has added to the CPTSD (also familial sexual abuse, sexual assaults and both physical and emotional abuse from my family. I finally took the step six or seven years ago to leave my family of origin behind and life is so much more peaceful and better in many, many ways without them in it.
I hope journalling helps you. I used to teach 'Therapy with Creative Writing' when I ran an educational resource centre for women and it was some of the most rewarding, satisfying work I have ever done. I wish you luck with it.
You are always in my thoughts, Ladybugs. Hugs
Right now I’m fighting not to say I’m suicidal but I know I am. I to always ask what my purpose is in this life. I don’t have an answer. You do have friends and they are on this site sounds like lots of people care about you. Just take care of yourself ok because you do matter. Namaste Pema.
Good job, no great job, on breaking the incest cycle. That this a major good and proof that your life has worth. And that it deserves to continue. Suicide will cut that short and will deny the good that you have done with your life.
You have the strength to overcome this.
Hugs.
