Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Had a very minor misunderstanding with my friend and his replies are slower than usual.
I'm very sensitive to peoples' patterns changing because I scrutinize them and pay very close attention to them all the time. I have a severe paranoia of people lying to, misleading me, or hiding certain truths or feelings while revealing others to manipulate what I know/believe of the situation.
I have more an underlying fear of people hiding things from me than I do being outright lied-to. Y'know, the whole "being given sort-of, kind-of half-truths" deal.
But I have no reason to mistrust him or any of my friends, really... He's very staunchly anti-lying. It's such a strong creed of his that has kept our friendship very resilient and strong.
Everyone close to me is this way. I haven't really been betrayed horribly, at least not recently. I'm not sure why my fear is so strong to where it makes me ill.
Waiting for answers back is the worst, especially when they're spaced far apart and are vague. I won't interrogate people because I don't want to be the "nagging old wife", accusatory people don't make the greatest of compadres.
-again, ranting, feel free to add-

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

I'm terrified of water and yet I love being in it.
Slow responses are hard to deal with. I don't think you'd be a "nagging wife" if you asked questions. Only if you asked the same question over and over and you don't seem like the type that would do that.
I'm sending you calm, relaxing vibes. Stay on here and take you're mind off his replies until he does reply.
I don't worry about peoples secret agenda but some ( shady ) people have them .
Being lied to is what bothers me and creates more of a you are not my friend or lover and I am a fool mentality . Plus the fact that I AM SO GULABLE , MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A IDOT .
Of course back in the day before meds and old timers disease I was the same shady , lying nymph that didn't give a shit about anything accept for being caught .
I guess I have improved now I am just a ass . LOL
But I don't mean to and the people who really know me get that .
When I've found in hindsight is that things do work themselves out and we do all of that worrying for not
I hope you hear from your friend soon... Big hug of comfort for you and a blessing...xo
I live in an area where if you don't notice someone they give you an earful. That has made me hypersensitive towards greeting others.
Also, I am paranoid about the possibility of saying something racist in public, especially when there are those of that race there. I had to do a reading at a convention in London 5 1/2 Months ago and all that was in my head was 'The N-Word' however I got through that okay, but it was a forced exercise for me.
Who knows what's in others' heads?
