Sooo...I go on Fanapt today, wish me luck.

Got akathisia from Abilify and Risperidone. Seroquel stopped working. Had horrible side effects with Lithium. Currently on 200 mgs of Lamictal (down from 400). Currently on klonopin to keep me from completely losing my mind.

Anyone else taken it?

Yeah, I think it just got approved in the U.S. in January (2010).

No - I was going to, but pdoc put me on Saphris and I didn't get akathisia from that so I have stayed on Saphris :-) Let me know how it goes :-)

I got akathisia from Abilify, Geodon, Invega, and Risperdal (low dose no - but higher doses I needed cogentin, cogentin never worked for the other drugs I got akathisia on though) Seroquel and Saphris are the only two I have tried and didn't get akathisia on. Heard this also has a low rate (even lower than Saphris, though not as good as Seroquel) for akathisia.

Why are you weaning off of Lamictal? Can't you just take both? I take a myriad of meds together.. Just what I do personally..

Actually I went down on the lamictal a while ago b/c of sleep problems. I didnt notice a big difference b/w the doses

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
