It might be nice if you could name a famous Beeper that you identified with... Someone that touched you in a special way (no jokes please, you know what I mean).
its interesting, as i was reading over the lists, i noted more often than not ones i don't like - i noted Kurt Cobain was missing - i guess it could be said he overcame the disease with a shotgun - not the best model. richard branson kinda disgusts me - egotist supreme. ah well, perhaps he thinks he's earned it. i dunno - loads of others who i don't think really handled themselves all that responsibly - but that could be because so little has been known about this disease until recently, & even then it has been so stigmatized.
anyway - the one i really do like, despite myself sometimes, is Robert Downey Jr - i've always had a real fondness for him. & i'm very glad to see him back & cleaned up & doing very well. i guess in that way he's model, too.
good question!
Ok, no, we were both addicts not beepers. Ok, so I'm the only famous beeper I know.
I've never read any mention of them as BP. They were definitely alcoholics, so they must have been extremely depressed.
