I found a store that will do consignments for my walking sticks/ staffs.
I went down to a Mineral and Fossil store today, where I have bought crystal and semi-precious stones for my staffs before. Last time I was down there I had spoken to the owner about consigning my staffs, he said next time I was around to bring one down and let him take a look at it.
Well, I brought one down and he loved it and said he would be happy to sell them in his store!!!!!!!!!!!
He asked me to make 4 to display and sell!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy
I knew that my motor skill issues would be a problem in carving and adorning my staffs so I went out and got myself a Dremel with the flex neck attachment and the bur attachments with it so I can do my carving plus a number of other functions.
I not sure what the point is of this post, I'm just really happy for a couple of reasons.
1) I will be able to do something I truly love and hopefully make some money doing it.
2) I have been going stir crazy trying to find something to do with my spare time and now I have it.

So I have been having a lot of health issues and my cardiologist felt that he didn't get clear enough images of my heart in the office, so he wanted to do a Trans-esophegeal heart Echocardiocgram in the hospital. I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...
Do you have a really cool stamp or signature that you put on each staff? You gotta autograph these masterpieces in some way.
When I was in the hospital, a woman came in that used a beautiful staff for walking. The administration decided it was a hazard and replaced it with a rickety metal walker. She deteriorated immediately. I think there was some kind of power or energy in her big stick.

I'm a little nervous, I've never worked with a Dremel before. I need to do some reading on it and then practice using some of my different burs.
