Hey man, I am EXACTLY the same way. When I played in bands I did a better job covering it up. It really was a bandage that kept me from bleeding. I'm pretty much just trying to patch up constantly now. But new wounds appear everyday. Be strong man, we're here for you.

We are so similar except for the crying part. I get suicidally depressed, I want to die, but I can't cry for the life of me. Somehow my crying button has almost left me.

I say almost but there are times when I do cry, like at a movie or something. I didn't even cry at my dad's funeral.

Don't be scared to show yourself here on DS. Whatever you post there are many people that think the same way.

You sound very sweet. I think we all act under those pretenses at times some more than others. I think people were meant to need others and sound like if you don't have a girlfriend that you need one. I have yet to listen to your song, so not sure why the tears but they can be a healthy thing. I love a man that can cry to me it means that you are strong enough to let it out. I am still new to this board so not sure the exact meds you are on as I type this but hopefully they are working. I have been BP since I was 12 or 13 but not dx until 37 after I just about tore my marriage apart, I think the things we tell ourselves in our hears comes to me, so we think so shall we act--positive thinking goes a long way. Not sure what you are going through but I am sending a great big hug!
