Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
How do you keep up with everything when it all feels completely pointless? I've been so depressed and paranoid, I keep thinking something something horrible is going to happen.
I'm so exhausted from my mind running through all the worst case scenarios of everything constantly. I've tried all the usual coping techniques for catestrophic thinking and paranoid thoughts but they aren't working. I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like I'm going to be stuck like this forever.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

In all it's splendid colour!!I'm up for a very short time I hope...It's too early for me but I always seem to have these early awake times where I'm not quite ready to get upAnother chore day for me as I didn't get done all I wanted to yestetdayI hope that your day is blessed...xo
It might depression or it might be the pure O form of OCD ..have you discussed these symptoms with your psychiatrist?
For me, breathing, focused counting is the only way I've found to really help me...again it's a process. The other thing is my 'thoughts' over the last several years I've really taken ahold of the serenity prayer to figure out what I have control over and what I don't have control over to change.
Recently it was a full moon...for me, I'm always a bit off and take note of my thinking.
Best To You!!
Bobby you are provoking the board. This is now something like the 3rd time. Can you let it go please?
I've said before, we've lost people due to well meaning interference by others.
This is the last time I'm going to say this. This amounts to trolling the board.
I was put on Perphenazine with Cogentin to bring me down from paranoia .. I was seeing shadow people at the time as well and hearing voices.... I'm not sure how bad it is for you however it did help completely within a few days
Gentle hug..... There is help for you out of this.... xo
So I indulge a little, like for a day, just because its a person I miss talking too and its not a dangerous situation, but call my Pdoc and get a med tweak and then the depression gets better and the hallucinations stop.
As for the mind running on the hamster wheel at 100mph, that's my brain all day everyday. Mood Stabilizers keep it controlled, and coping skills that I've learned and practice daily keep it from overtaking everything else. Learning how to focus all that spinning energy and constant thinking takes a bit of practice, but once you do, its easier to not feel so out of control all of the time.
Take care.
I hope you find something that works for you.
Hang in there,
Dark Chocolate
