If you can't sleep - your life turns upside down. You absolutely have to get restful sleep for your body and your mind to work correctly.

If pain wakes you up - both pain management and something to help you sleep is a good idea, imo.

Trazadone is not addictive and it does help sleep-wise. It also has a relatively light antidepressant affect. Good luck.

Linda- Thanks for the advice. I went to the doc appointment- I'm having to see a new doctor. I would rather not take something for sleep since I already take meds that make me sleepy. I take Lortab, Baclofen (a muscle relaxer) and Klonopin ( at night) I am sleeping a bit better now. I think I need to get my sleep apnea re-evaluated. It has probably gotten worse since I had my first sleep test. Hubby says I snore even with the machine on.

Well, I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday. I am at work, wishing I could stay at home. But at least I have Friday off.

my random thought for the day- Is there a way for me to start liking my job again?

I don't know A. Sorry you are not sleeping at night. Like Linda Jean said, it turns you life upside down. We bipolars need more sleep than most people do.

So, I am on disability. My hubby is pushing me to work and I just don't think I can handle it. There are very little jobs in Chapel Hill that I could do thats simple, easy and stress free. I don't want to go back to nursing, hair styling is a possibility as long as its not a fast food salon like Super Cuts or Great Clips. I could work in a nice salon because its not fast paced and you don't have to rush people out of the salon. YOu take time your time and when it's done, its done. So I applied to Rite-Aid and they picked someone else. So, I applied to a convenience store and the Application, NO LIE, was almost 2 hours. So many assessments. Some were all the answers would be good choices. SO, I just guessed. Anyway, wish me luck

I am sleeping a little better now. I just have to keep up my sleep routine. I woke up once last night but was able to get back to sleep pretty easily. I am not feeling all that tired. But I am wondering how long I can go with just getting six hours of sleep each night.

Rachyl- I wish you the best of luck with working. I hope you can find a job that you like and that will not be too stressful. But, if you're on disability can you work?

Good morning Gina! I hope the house cleaning goes well. I know it's something I struggle with. My house is terrible. But I work full time and can't get any help cleaning.

Yes you can work on disability but you can't make over 1000 a month. I am aiming for more like 600 bucks a month.

I am in such a bad mood today. But I did make it to work. I guess that's a plus. I really didn't want to come up here at all. My job makes me feel so inadequate- or at least my supervisor does. She seems to always be looking for fault in my performance.

BOO!!! Bad supervisor! That must be a stressful job let alone, your supervisor being a complete ass. Feel better soon. I know how you can feel when you get down.

Thanks Rachyl. She's actually not that bad, I guess. She's just constantly pointing out what I do wrong and it makes me feel bad. At least I have a job and health insurance and a good retirement plan. So many people don't have that right now. I just hope all my illnesses don't make me lose this job. Between the fibro and the bipolar I feel like I'm losing my hold on reality sometimes.

yeah, Fibro is bad stuff. I can't imagine having it. I have RA, so I can kinda understand. Sounds like you have some great benefits. Praying that you will be able to keep it up
