Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Or to at least have the pleasure of personally stomping on her and/or flushing her down the toilet once she's out!!!!
Everything crossed -- even my eyes -- that things work out the way you want them to!!! (((((Hugs)))))
Thanks just dont go cross eyed
And I have decided that no of course we do not want some monster sized spinal tumor but a small one that he could snatch out in short operation and would explain and fix the neuropathy is exactly what I am hoping for come Friday. Since when do people truly ask for tumors and the growing of them?
I, myself, have a tooth with some bone wrapped up in it which was removed from me when I was 17!!! A wisdom tooth. They had to saw off part of my jawbone in order to remove it. I was awake for the whole thing and the Novocaine didn't begin to do the job it was meant to do, LOLOL!!!!
I suffered for that thing!!!! I'm keeping it!!!!
Then, years later, I had another wisdom tooth pulled -- a much easier removal -- but they claimed it was against the law to give it to me. (Hey!!! Maybe the bastard wanted it for himself for some perverted reason!!! Or maybe for the tooth fairy?)
If *I* had a brain tumor, I'd want it!!! But, then, I AM insane!!!
How are all of you?
Hey, I'm all for putting her (Agnes) in a pickling jar. We did that with my mom's gallstones. Yeah, I even took them for show and tell at school.
Hope everything goes good for you today, Wiener!!!!
I went to bed at 8 last night it was heavinly
Could we make Agnes the DS mascot, if and when she's removed?
Good morning, Everybody!!! I thought I disliked Saphris enough already, but this morning I am vomiting -- yet another side effect of it. That's it!!! I'm going to look up going off it cold turkey and choose the lesser of two poisons. (I suppose one of the cold turkey symptoms will be vomiting, sigh.)
Oh, yeah!!! And sorry about the TMI, but I'm in a sharing sort of mood, today and that's all I have to offer!!!!!
Carry on, peeps!!! A happy and safe day to you all!!!! (((((Hugs)))))
I am here at work all alone today...and I had a patient standing at the door waiting on me when I got here...Gonna be a LONG day.
Morning Carla - I layed down at 8 drifted off while watching Grey's reruns - dog woke me at 10 she over ran her spot and collided with me ll. Drifted back asleep and once again ms hyper ass woke me at 2 barking her fool head off so I put her in the bathroom and let his highness out which worked ok - he let me sleep until 7. Unless I am sick I usually do not sleep more than 3 hours a night so must mean I am sick. DOnt care just knows last night I enjoyed the hell out of it
I hope the day comes when you get 8 -- yes, 8!!!! -- hours of healthy, uninterrupted sleep!!!! (You'd probably stay up a week straight after a stretch like that, though!) (((Hugs)))
I havent slept thru the night since I was 10 - too much to see and do at night might miss something
Welcome to Anatomy and Physiology.
Just a couple of notes before the semester begins.
Double check with your major -- do you need the 1-semester A & P that covers all 28 chapters or do you need the 2-semester A & P class that digs a little deeper and spreads the chapters out? Make sure you are in the right class! Twice in 1 year I have had students come to me crying because they spent the whole semester in the wrong course.
We will generally have a quiz on every lecture day. I have tried several different combinations of content and times. This semester we are going to have the quiz at the beginning of class (so that people show up on time) covering the content from the previous lecture. They will be a menagerie of formats -- multiple choice, matching, T/F, fill-in-the-blank, or a few essays. You will need 2 scantron forms for all of the quizzes combined.
We will usually have 2-3 lectures then lab or activity day(s). Frequently the labs make more sense if you have studied a whole body system before you do it. They are REQUIRED NOT OPTIONAL. Because of previous semester students skipping lab days then bombing that part on the exams I am giving a simple activity or assignment during the lab to do that will count as a grade.
Exams are usually 3-4 chapters of information. We can't have any more tests than that because we don't have any extra class periods for them. That means you will have 3 exams plus a final exam for the major part of your grade.
There will be projects also. Condition presentations will begin with groups then move into individual presentation toward the end of the semester. A paper of your choice of topics will be due at midterm.
More details to come...
#1 Suggestion -- Read the chapter summaries for chapters 1-15 before the class begins and practice some of the games/puzzles that come with the www.myaandp.com website we will often visit.
