What exactly is this thread about? There are a crazy amount of posts on here and I just don't understand. And I don't want to read all of them to understand what's going on. SO will someone tell me what this is and why people keep posting on it?

Sure I will explain it as good as I can.

The post was started last March one day when Soss was feeling down and out of sorts just as a random post to make herself feel better.

When she had accomplished that it was decided to keep it going until the day I die (I have end stage lung disease and now am down to the wire) as I love this post and in sorts its become a dedication to me - she is my best friend in the real. The night I go on to whereever it is that I am headed next she will ask the CLs to close it and then it will be copied and made into a book in my honor - and yeah I feel mighty loved for that one as some mighty fine people have had some great things to say thru the months just because of that reason
