Depends on your bank as well, USAA gives goverment workers a day early actually but it should be in by midnight unless u have a credit union then their protocol might vary then again its coming from Department of treasury so its guaranteed. Basically i told you nothing with this LOL sorry!

Last month I saw everyone who gets ss of some variety got paid early due to the 1st being a Holiday. My husband receives a Federal government check every 28 days, always a Friday. It does not matter if that Friday is Christmas or any other holiday they have no delegated to Monday, it is all computer generated from the payer to the payee no matter...banks computers run 24/7. I get a state check on the 1st and does not matter if it is a Sunday, holiday or anything...on the 1st it is there via auto deposit by puter. If it falls on a non banking day i just go to the supermarket, buy stuff and get cash over. I would suggest you have direct deposit set up if you do not already, that way avoiding waiting for a paper check. Not only that but a lot of banks will not charge you monthly fees if you do it that way, ours does not. When it was paper check we had bank fees. Hope I was some help.

it is 5 am I have direct deposit according to the govt. computer the funds have been sent but the money is not in the account.

The question now is who do I report the bank too I need the funds to get gas to go to work. It is paycheck to paycheck on a fixed income.

The sad part is the hardship caused to many others will go unpunished.

And what about my auto drafts scheduled for 12am on the first? if those dont get paid who pays the penalties who turns my lights back on?

I called the bank said by 6am and I had to hold for 30 min!!! I will be logging in at 6:01 for sure!!!

i get paid on the second wednesday of the month. sometimes it surprises me and gets there on the second tuesday.

I am now on hold with SS as the bank has not a clue where it went but it never reached my checking account. For fuck sake is this not why I have direct deposit so this shit doesnt happen
