Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I have schizoaffective disorder. Bipolar type.
I work real hard to keep responsible about my day, whether it's at work or
keeping the house in order.
I find sometimes I can manage my feelings and other times there will be ups and downs
which really makes me feel worthless and unable to cope so well (and so I feel just unlike others.)
Right now at least 'talking about it' reminds me that it hasn't been so bad for most of the day -
So I feel better from that thought - but the sense of dissaray I can feel can really make me feel anguish
and worthlessness. Right now I will focus on the positive sides of today and just keep busy best I can.

What are your five favorite tv shows right now? **And hey, if you're a tv watcher of any sort (or love movies, or really anything pop culture-related for that matter), why not also check out our sister group, "That's Entertainment!" - https://www.dailystrength.org/group/thats-entertainment-tv-and-film-group

My ups and downs do not necessarily make me feel "useless" - I would describe feelings of incompetence and lack of control. I might be functional - wake up early, go to class, go to work, see friends, etc. - but a whole lot is bubbling in my head making those tasks often torturous. It makes me feel like a demon is in control and I am not. You are definitely not alone in having negative feelings about your ups-and-downs.
Another hug while you're working it out Marky.....xo
