Don't get married because your mom is pressuring you to. This could ultimately lead to a horrible marriage that you will regret. Not to mention if you have children involved.

Embrace being young, find yourself and enjoy life. You will know when the time is right for marriage. Base it on how YOU feel and what you are ready for and not by what other people tell you.

I know that in your culture there is great pressure on young women to marry at a young age .

I live in an area where many young women { from a different ethnic background than you are from, } have arranged marriages.

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't .I personally know several young women who have had arranged marriages, and they seem happy enough

Fortunately where I am from, it is reasonably easy to divorce.

I would think long and hard before making this decision

I didn't get married until I was 27 and nothing exploded. You will be fine. There is no law that says you have to be married by such-and-such time.

There was a time { in the Olden Days } , where girls were expected to marry right out of high school , or go to college to find a husband.

Now days , girls tend to marry at a later age .

In your time, it will happen for you. Not your mom's. Not anyone else's. Well except for that lucky person. When you find it, you'll know it. All the best.
