I KNOW I can love! I just freak out from being abandoned so much because I never understood that I had a fear of abandonment! Learning to tone that down a lot with a very patient guy.

Also I love cheese, monkeys, the color blue, my horse, my orange cat Jones, fresh laundry especially if I don't have to fold it, spring, this rockin' teapot I have, pedicures, my mailman, round smooth pebbles, my dad, my favorite sweatshirt, the movie "Jaws", mustard, my new haircut, boots, the full moon, fairlight's avatar, yellow roses, a good poop, going to the movies, lemon ginger tea, sneezing, dirt, do you want me to go on?

i dont know about love any more either. i think that bps love. my question is can they get the love back that they put in it?

At the risk of offending some, this question, whether or not BPer's can love, is like asking whether or not we can take a shit. Why can't we? We're human beings, and that's what we're made to do!

Ahhh yes I love the idea of falling in love...hopeless romantic. But when I love I love too much..am loyal and see it through to the end (always hoping there isn't an end but so far there always has been two deaths..two divorces..ect) I believe love is taking the time to care and we can all do that if we so choose

Of course we can love, and even saners get the hormonal and psychological high that first falling in love brings. We're not different in that respect.

I'm all about some love! I love so many things. I think maybe we're even MORE capable of love because we feel so strongly somtimes. There are days that I look at my DH and just.. well.. feel so much love its almost scary.
I also agree love is an action. Sometimes I have to remind myself to act in a loving manner- but I think that's true for all humans. Its our nature to seek the divine as we see it.

I have trust issues from my experiences that i have had in th epast. I feel like i am never gonna find Mr. Right. noone is gonna be able to put up with me and my bipolar.
