I've been reaching out today to try and get a physchologist to help me but for some reason I didn't expect the wait times I've heard of so far to getting an appt. I should have known with the times we r in right now but just disappointed as best case scenario as of yet is a 4-6 week wait ... looks like I need u guys even more now

Deep breaths.... Do you meditate or use mindfulness?
Exercise is important.... Grounding technique's can help with anxiety and are on Google
My best tool is gratitude.... Think of 5 things to be grateful for everyday and write them down... I find when you feel grateful you don't feel nearly as bad..... Big hug....xo
My case is a little too complicated and multi-faceted for a "Counselor". I actually do all of my therapy with my Psychiatrist now, because I don't do it on any routine schedule anymore. Just as needed once in a while.
I think its incredibly important to find a Therapist who specializes in the things you need help with and someone you feel comfortable with.
