This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I just signed up for "Disability-dates". It seems to be strongly geared towards physical disabilities rather than mental ones. There's also "nolongerlonely.com". are these good places to find people? any suggestions?

I used Okay Cupid. It was good for me, helps you find someone compatible with your personality.

I've tried okCupid, Plenty of fish, IQ Elite, and I think Match.com. The problem is that I'm a guy with no job and no car. It feels like trying to swim up Niagara falls.

That's a good idea. I think people with different kinds of disabilities can empathize with each other. I have both physical and psychological, and a very supportive husband who is "healthy" :-) I lucked out.

Have you tried meetme.com I think that’s the site I actually met my ex on there and had a couple dates from couple guys on there but I’ve given up on dating now but that was site I used when I was trying to get into something

I think if your looking for someone with Mental Issues and are able to handle them along with your own Mental Issues then looking toward 'disability" geared dating sites is fine. But if that's not what you're looking for I'd lean towards more normal dating sites, or even just chatrooms where you can get to meet someone. Or Meetups that share your interests.

I'll give meetme.com a look.
