Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Sorry you suffer from it. (((((Hugs)))))
I pray that you feel better and that you don't stay stuck at the bottom. Remember this too shall pass.
And yes, falling into a spiral. I start to wonder if it ends. I keep waiting for something to snap me out of it.
You are not alone.

Dorothy Rowe, the Australian Psychologist and expert on Depression describes it as a prison we lock ourselves in, where we hold the key in our hands. We're just not always conscious of how much power we truly have over ourselves, and it is vital that people are listened to and given the chance to explore how they view the world and how they fit in it. Of course, sometimes the brain is truly damaged and then medications are the best chance of an ordinary life.
Either way, it's a cruel state to be in, with only the great appreciation of really knowing the contrast as a gift.
