Well from what I heard on CNN on the 17th of this month they are going to have a debt ceiling crisis. This means if they don't raise it then no more social security checks for seniors or the disabled. That would leave me practically homeless and no way to pay for meds. I am not just worried about me but think of all the seniors who paid in their whole lives. Do you guys think they will raise it again? This is what they typically do. Sorry to bring up a political topic on the boards but this is one that will impact a lot of people on here.
There are a lot of flaws in the ACA, but it's at least a step forward. There should be proper universal healthcare as there is in soooooo many other first world countries! A lot of people outside the US truly cannot see why republicans are so upset by all this! I'm sure it's the same for a lot of US citizens too!
If we r so bad why are people in outher countrys fighting like hell to get into US.
