I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain. Just scroll on by my posts, if they are too...

1. i HAVE a small notebook whenever i'm on work. if there are verbal orders or important things to write, i jot it down.
2. I use menemonics
3. I relax. if i need to foucs that's a first. esp on my job.
what are ur ways of coping and what do u tell yourself when frustration hit you?
Use the tech that's here.
I write things down alot, and ask people questions if I need to, or ask for help. It was hard to ask for help, but I am glad I do, because it helps me to live and function with the lack of memory. I explain it to close friends and family, and now they understand if I do not remember things. I was on Lithium, and now switching to Lamictal.
What I do to cope is I write things down on a journal. When something happens or if I have a conversation with somebody, I write them down in the journal. I also keep a calendar so I will know what to do every day.
I am hopping my memory will come back to me. My sister just sent me an article

It's how to exercise your brain so you can improve it.
I hope the article helps somebody. It sucks not remembering things.
