hi Cheryl, are you new to the board, if so, welcome. Coming out of depression is hard, I always think it's a bit like being asleep - you wake up and reality hits you. Are you on meds? It might be worth contacting your doctor to make sure you don't slip into depression again.

I am on lots of meds DR started adderal Monday. It is giving some energy. So I am not sleeping during the day. I just have to go back to therapist to get the negative self talk out of head. thanks for caring.

Welcome to DS!!! I am so sorry you have been so depressed. I have been in that same position but don't beat yourself up about it. Sometimes just keeping our heads above water is the best we can do. At least you are getting some energy back and that's great. I take adderall as well and it help me stay more alert. Dont stress about a messy house just be glad you have survived and it can be cleaned up in time. Baby steps are best sometimes. I hope your family is supportive and will understand how you have been feeling. Again, welcome and I hope you find our DS family as supportive as I do!!!

I can totally relate. I've been ill with one thing or another since March. Started feeling better 7/13 and in a mild mania decided to visit an out-of-town friend - probably to get away from the wreck my house is in. Got into a car accident - no one hurt but me when airbag exploded and now I can barely hear. It wouldn't be so hard if even one of my family showed some compassion. Bipolar is a very lonely world.

Cheryl, I meant to commiserate with you, then went on a diatribe. Sorry, don't know much about this yet.

So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
