Bipolars have had great ideas , from which much paradigm shifts could be implemented.But being Bipolars, we never see any of the projects to their fruition. No-one finishes the completed dream.It's due to people not having the impetus to ...to...oh I can't be arsed.

This whole debate about religion might just be moot. You see, a pastor from California, ex engineer Harold Camping, has calculated that the world will end on May 21, 2011. Harold had previously predicted that the world would end in 1994, but that was before personal supercomputers, so that mistake should be excused.

If you are Mayan, you of course believe that the world will end in 2012, on December 12, according to the nitpickers.

The Hopi think that the world will end when the last speaker of the Hopi language dies. On a recent radio show, I heard a 17 year old kid do a pretty good job with the language, so good that his friends call him Hopi Boy. Ok, that sets the end of the world back a few decades.

Pope Leo declared way back in 1514, that the world would "end 500 years hence." Way to go Leo, we've still got four years to party!

According to the news this week, the Russians are so worried about asteroid 1997 XF11 and its close pass in 2028, that they've proposed to send out a spacecraft to nudge it in another direction.

Of course, these end of the world predictions have been wrong before.

I have another to add to the list from my childhood religion. Apparently, the world will end when the last who were alive during WWII are dead.

I like what Juice wrote( I hate being atheist ) I believe now but havn't always. All I can say is read the Bible for yourself. From cover to cover and quit blaming God for all your problems. Do you think God wanted to be nailed to a cross?

What's interesting about the whole end of the world prediction business is, well, how empty the shelves are right now. I think the predictors are pretty much overawed by the whole Mayan Calendar thing. I mean, think about it, there are usualy preachers and seers and new agers and mystics on every street corner tossing out dates. But the Mayans have cornered the market.

I've read the bible cover to cover. I'm not blaming god for my troubles. I'm just saying I'm not buying into something that is largely a myth. I'm not doubting that Jesus existed. I just think the story has been greatly exagerated. I do think there is a god but I'm think this god is as the Buddist believe. If a god exist, he doesn't get involved like the god that christians talk about.

Well JennS since you have read the Bible from cover to cover what part of it do you think is fake. Can you tell us why the buddist or wiccan are closer to the truth than the Christian or Jew........

There are many people of many faiths that are closer to God than many Christians. It all has to do with faith.

A God of Love would not send a starving African child to hell just because he/she didn't listen to the slimy TV evangelist that was caught with a whore.
