Caseworker and I talked

She thinks that maybe if I win my case that a separation from
my husband is in order. She knows about how horrible he's
been treating me ie putting all the weight gain and loss of
sex drive as my fault, telling me the reason why I am obese is not the meds but my fat but indeed because I just don't do anything around the house and the real reason is me being fat and lazy....when indeed I do do the dishes and laundry and I do pick up after myself. This change would be big for me. I just don't know how I'd cope if it happens.

Well, you've said what your caseworker thinks. BPP, what do you think? How do you feel about this? Is this the decision you want to make?

Would you be able to support yourself? Your income with SSDI would be limited. You might need to move in with a family member or get a roomate if you seperate.

I just don't know if I could bring myself to do it. I would loose a parental figure for my little girl and that change would be hard on her.
I would probably go back to feeling paranoid at night. When I don't have anyone to sleep with my paranoid thoughts run wild. I know I need to do it if I win my ssi case.....but I just don't know if I could.

My parents already told me if it happens that a divorce is in order they won't take me back in and my brother hates me so I would have no family member I could rely on. If I did split I would be eligible for section 8 housing so there would still be money left over. It's not like I am not poor now. i have no job and no money coming in so money issues wouldn't change.

If you plan on staying with your hubby, you might not get any SSI. If he works at all, the SSI would be denied, I think. Sweetie, you need marriage counseling BIG TIME. Any man that calls you fat and lazy, when he knows what meds you have to take, is a real rat. You deserve love and respect and you don't want your children to have to watch this POS disrespecting you. Hugs and good luck. (Only you know what you should do.)

Actually right now he makes enough money where they said I would be eligible for some type of payment at least. Before they said he was making too much money and turned me down since then his hours at work have been cut back due to the economy.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
