As long as I can remember I have built a wall to my emotions and true self around my heart and real self letting no one in. Except for my wifes I don't think I have ever let anyone in to the real me.

I have an impossible time letting people get close to me, I figure that they are out for something else instead of just friendship.
I've got the Great Wall of China Built around me. LOL
It's a way to protect myself I think. I'm afraid of the disappointment or of being taken advantage of.
Very few come over the wall.
I tried sharing with my mom, when she got pissed I wouldn't.
She then cut me off--cause I was 'too much stress'.
That was over a year ago.
She can now bite me--HARD.
So yeah, when so many people have taken off when things get rough, it becomes easier and easier to just not let in at all.
