I get so angry I have anger outbursts on my loved ones they say they don't recognize me. I feel I'm losing it. Maybe like I get so mad I don't see reality. I'm so scared. My eyes look angry and lost and I'm so scared and hurting. I want to be better. I want to be at peace all the time and be calm and get along with everyone. I don't want to hurt anyone anymore

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. As AcFish says, being on the wrong combo of meds or being on a med that doesn't agree with you can cause you to be highly irritated and angry, or you may have a Secondary condition that you've not been Diagnosed with yet. Have you talked to your Pdoc about the Anger Issues yet and what does he/she say about it?
We kept the BP dx, though. My mood swings seem to defy standard PTSD, also, if PTSD has had time develop standards yet. The first in-house article on it by that name was published in 1992. Mental health problems are not so easy to pigeon hole as the ailments which have standardized physical tests.
When I lose control and start yelling and saying mean things I am like a different person. Then once I calm down and feel like myself again, I feel all of the guilt and self hatred for the way I have just behaved. And how much I have hurt the person I love so much.
I think my anger stems from growing up with a dad who always came home angry and took is anger out on me. Other than that I am at a loss as to why I am this way. I hope you can find a way to discover where your anger comes from. Mostly because I know how much inner suffering comes with not understanding why we are filled with so much anger just waiting to explode at any moment. Good luck to you. Im always around to chat.
