Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I am curious how many people have Fibromyalgia, and Essential Tremor, Bipolar, Restless Legs, Tendinitis and Sleep Apnea... I have just joined several groups here and noticed many people have similar health problems across the site. I have all of these and was surprised to see others mention having some of them too. I always assumed each was just a completely separate problem but when I see members on fibromyalgia forum saying they get tremor and Restless legs... and ones on Essential Tremor forum mentioning fibromyalgia... and so on, it makes me wonder how many of these things are conected. I figure I'll post this question on each of the forums and see who else has multiple conditions in common.
I have,
Fibromyalgia
Essential Tremor
Bipolar 2
Restless Legs
Tendinitis
Sleep Apnea
Depression
Constantly tired and sore drop things and am unable to work.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

~Hi polarbare, hugs back at you.
~Hi OlderCPer, your right about depression and Bipolar. I haven't ever heard of these other conditions being related to bipolar though, interesting, I will have to do more research. Thanks
I have had tendinitis and now have arthritis and sinusitis .... I have all the inflammations ... I do think we are more susceptible if our moods aren't in a good place and then of course things can become chronic unfortunately ....sigh... It sux

I know the fibro trouble. I couldn't hold a coffee cup with one hand. I couldn't vacuum with a self propelled machine. Physical therapy helped, as well as gamma globulin shots weekly, but they only helped some symptoms. The hormone replacement seems to be returning me to a relatively normal person. Yes I am diagnosed bi-polar, but I am wondering if I really am as serotonin is one of the things the hormones effect. After I am on these for awhile I will look into no longer taking the anti-depression meds.
Best of luck all. I have been there and it SUCKS.
