I live alone and it's forced me to be real honest about what it takes to stay happy and positive. I like it and prefer it - though it's not easy sometimes. I have developed habits where I see certain people the same time most days and weekends.
I go to work on most weekdays and then I see my parents on Sundays. I used to not live on my own and I am like Jan - I like living on my own. My parents are concerned about me as they'd like me to socialize more. Though most people in person freak me out to be honest I do think doing some socializing or volunteering would be a good thing. To be social and to cope with my fears might be important. I have heard of meetups. So I might do that.
I did the Soccer Mom/Working Mom/Wife for 25 years thing....I prefer this!
