Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Very interesting topic. If I'm socially awkward, I don't know it. Geez .... that's kind of a scary thought in and of itself! :)
Baby #1 called of her wedding 4 days before the event and social ineptness on the part of her then-fiance was the #2 reason.
This guy is so intelligent. It almost felt like it pained him to be around mere joe-blow farmers. Over the course of 5.5 years, I tried my damnedest to get to know him. Epic fail. He had a way of shutting down conversations. I don't think I ever heard him ask a question of anyone. We took him on vacation a couple of times -- spent a week in Cancun reading some sci-fi book and spent a week in Kauai playing Gameboy.
I know he opened up to our daughter but she's a bubbly, outgoing girl and it became so difficult for them to socialize with anyone because of his awkwardness.
So sad.
witticism
I can't tell you how many times, I've killed conversations, I'll be sitting with a group of people talking, try to make some witticism or us some humor and the next thing you know the whole room is quiet as a church during a funeral.
Yup, Will has made some insensitive comment again. Worst part about it, is that usually the last thing I'm trying to do.
Oh, my daughter does give me social interaction lessons. But I think I have learned all that I can from her. So I told her not to do it anymore, and it is slowly working. LOL
