Did you know you can get netflix streamed from the computer to your tv with xbox live? We have it and it very cheap... Its really friggin cool :)

I have an PS3 and I absolutely love it, however I do want an Xbox as there are several games such as Left4Dead, Halo, etc which I would love to play. The only thing I dislike about Xbox-live is that Micro$oft charges you money to play on their network whereas Sony does not.

I just set up my Xbox..well the BF did.But I've been using it to watch NetFlix movies,I don't have any online games yet..but I plan to.

I dont have the ps3 or anything. My boyfriend wants it for the blueray disk player in it cuz its supposed to be high quality. I have the xbox gold membership and I rarely get on it cuz I have no friends on there. Though I play alot of rockband 1 and 2. My boyfriend has all the halo games and gears of war. Atv off road is great, and I want the new need for speed (We just got the demo for that) You need to become more familar with it and get back with me on it so you can let me know your gamertag. You can also create cute little avatars. I have one for all of my children and my boyfriend. YOu can also talk to people with a headset. Oh yeah and instant message.You are in for alot of fun. Its addictive lol

I *really* want to play Gears of War, it looks amazing. The blue ray player is very high quality and definitely worth it for the price as you get both the gaming system and the blu-ray! I love playing multiplayer games and chatting with others over the headset as well.
I think it's awesome that you are getting into this, gaming is seriously a form of therapy for me. :)

Latest News: Hubby said he knows you can only have one gamer tag per membership and if I wanted to add a few gamers from DS on his tag that I was allowed. Gamers: My hubby's tage is l7master. Add me if you like. Just you need to know that I am not the only one who uses the tag. The hubby and kids also use the same tag So I won't always be on.

I'm not into the new games anymore, even though I have a 360 that I bought when Oblivian came out. I liked Morrowind alot more than Oblivian. I use to whoop online butt on Moto GP for xbox. Before that it was Phantasy Star Online.

Nowdays the games are so complicated, involving and expensive. I recently bought a PS3 but I don't have any games for it. I plan on using it as a media hub to use with my Macbook Pro. Too much to go into about that.

I joined there before but I must not have the right log in info. It knows my email address when I tried to resign up saying that it's in use.

I'm recording HD video content to my MBP using a Haupauge HDPVR. It looks absolutely AMAZING, and I can connect my MBP to my large HDTV and play it through DVI. It also records and plays in full 5.1 surround. So I record in m2ts(video file). and convert it to MP4 to play it with quicktime and perian 1.1.2. But I should be able to play m2ts files directly from the PS3. That's what I'm working on. And editing the video with streamclip.

The one problem with the PS3 is the drive is a fat32, even if replaced. This means that the largest files that can be stored is 4GB. Not good for HD video files. You can get about 1.5 hours in 720p. But I have the Super Bowl recorded and plan to do other sporting events.
