Okay, so I have filed for SSDI and I have recieved the questionair about my daily habbits etc.. It was so hard to answer the questions because they are yes or no and somedays are good and somedays are bad gerrrr. I elaborated a lot on them tho. So for those of you that filed after that process what else is their you have to do? Sit and wait for your first rejection and then file an apeal? I heard just about everyone gets rejected their first time. Also has anyone used Allsup? They seem like they have a good track record. 97% approval rate. WOW.
i filed in 2004, got rejected...let it go
then in 2006, in like march or something, i attempted suicide and got committed against my will to a veterans home. i was there in patient in a va home from mar-july 2006. in july 2006, i re-filed for ssdi. i was rejected again, so this time i hired a lawyer (local to baltimore..questioning now whether or not i should have done ALLSUP)..so i was sent to their pdoc and was rejected again...then another time i got committed back into the v.a. (all while my case is somewhere in the system; who knows where)...then this past fall i went to college one day and suffered a panic attack from PTSD and was sent to a civilian hospital by ambulance from campus, then back to the veterans hospital..then nov 2, 2007 i got a letter from social security & it said...you shall be going to see an administrative law judge within a year...(great; another fucking year)...this situation has been so horrid, and i dont understand why. i paid into the system and served my country and got hurt; not i cant recieve any help; WTF?
