I'm in the grocery store and a petite young lady had stopped with her cart in the dead center of the isle while looking for some soup. Five of us were backed up behind her when i finally spoke up and said...

"I know your mother taught you your manners like blocking the entire row she was just as rude when she spit the best half of you on the motel floor."

She had a shocked look on her face and promptly moved her cart. The guy behind me said "good one!" so i know they wanted to say the something as well. And I hope she will think twice the next time she decides to park in the middle of the road.

but was I wrong I mean I was the only one who could say it and blame it on my insanity.

If she had turned around and looked and went back to what she was doing I would most likely burst out too. But with nothing clever. I have a tendency to yell when I'm irritated or anxious. lol. I might have yelled something like "Move outta my way!"

I would have said "Excuse Me" then if she didn't do anything I would have just moved her cart.

I wouldn't have stooped to her level.

I think you kinda went overboard with the "spitting the best half of your out part."

If you're pissed at someone for not extending you the type of courtesy you think you deserve, why would you respond in the same fashion, or even worse?

Kinda like being mad at suicide bombers, so you decide to blow yourself up in protest.

When that happens to me I say "Excuse you." If that doesn't work, I push her cart down to the end of the isle and out of everyone's way. If she says anything, I just give her a look and tell her not to even go there.

Well, once upon a time my retort would have been similar, but I have learned to "let go". I will tell you a secret though, when I was getting agitated real bad I would just wait and go to the store and do my shopping at 2 am. I did this because I had daydreams of running over people with my cart. I did run over some woman's toes one time, cuz like your rude person. I said excuse me and she just looked at me.LMAO However, I am still guilty of typical bipolar rudeness when someone gets on my nerves and my husband will just look at them and say,"excuse my wife, she's rude sometimes. I just laugh and walk off. whatever.

I couldn't have said it that way, but I would have said something like, "excuse me." Then, if she ignored, I likely would have been a bit rude.

Either way, screw her for being so inconsiderate!

most of the time an excuse me would have worked but if you try to squeeze by they get the hint and move.

I think it was Godawful and totally out of line!!! LOLOL!!!!
But I respect your right to act as you see fit!!!
I always tend to give people the benefit of the doubt; you never know what's going on with them and/or why they're acting the way they are!!
I would have politely asked her to move. If she didn't do so, I would have just moved her cart and said, "Sorry! I've got to get by here!"
