When 1st went to the DR I was given this but was scared off by the side effects!!! Sorry

I believe this drug to be well respected in drug community. I was on it for several months and the only side effect was fatigue. My 7 year old is now on it, and I know my pdoc wouldn't do that if it weren't tried and true. He has had no ill effects. Hope it does you some good!

i was just going to post about this drug..i have been on it a couple of months and the only thing that is really driving me crazy with it is i have been sweating like a pig on it. it is really bothersome. i am going to call my doctor and get off it. it might not seem like a big deal but it wakes me in the middle of the night .its horrible to sweat like this.i hope you dont get this side effect.. ...marie

I am on 10mg a day now for the last 3 months. I have had no bad side effects at all. It has helped me a lot. I am on other meds as well.

It helped with my my panic attacks, rapid cycling,and deppesion. I finally feel stable after 12 years.

I have been on Ambilify 10 mg for about 8 months. I have not had any bad side effects and it has been very helpful in conjunction w/ Lamictal and SeroQuel in leveling out my moods. It was the 1st cocktail they put me on and it seems to work well.

Ive been on it for about a yr and have had no side effects.

I've been on 15 mg for several months with no bad side effects and good mood stabilization results. I love it! It has been my miracle.

i have been on abilify, various dosages, for the past couple of years. right now i am on 30mg a day. it works well with my other mood stabilizers, and also as an antipsychotic for me. the only side affect it has given me that i have noticed was when i had an increased doseage i got a little antsy. but that was it. but remember, meds work differently for different people.

i have been taking it for about a year and have had no ill side effects.. i feel like it helps a great deal along with my other meds

I take 30mg a day along with 75mg of Lamictal twice a day. The two work pretty well for me but when I took Abilify alone it didn't do to much. The only side effect I got from it was fatigue, so I've started taking it at night. As far as deadly side effects go, well I haven't died yet.

my pdoc has had me on lamictal for over a year now. 400mg and about 6 months ago we added abilify. I started at 20mg for a week then went to 40mg. From what i've heard the higher the dose the better as far as avoiding side effects. The biggest two I have heard of are restlessness and involentary musscle movement.

I get like a little manic buzz on it most of the time but it never goes very high just enough to keep me active, the other is my leg twitches a lot, but my pdoc gave me something called trihexylphendrine hcl which has stopped the twitching since they say it can become permanent.

lamictal keeps me from getting too low and the abilify from getting too high they are the perfect combo for me I would hope they work for yu too

Abilify has been a great med for me. I started out with 5 and worked my way to 20mg. The only side effect I had was fatigue and leg cramps but they went away after a couple of weeks. I'm sticking with this med. I have tried all kinds of cocktails and this has been the best by far. Along with Topamax, it has stabilized my moods greatly.

I took it and did just fine on it. I was told not to drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruit while on it. No biggy for me, I don't like grapefruit anyways. I know that if you take it like your supposed to and be at a theraputic level, it should be okay. Depends on the person. Not all meds are okay for some.
