I found out this morning one of my cousins passed away. I wasn't told why. We used to play together a lot as kids. He was 2 years younger that me. I don't why God keeps taking people younger than me but makes me stay here.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
I could speculate on it but, really, there are no solidly proven reasons that we could all look at the math on and agree that "Yup. That's it."
Not a church-goer (not that much of a goer anyplace, unfortunately), but my thoughts on the meanings of Life and of Death are toward that direction. So debatable.
You may figure out why you're still here at some point. Then again, you may be a person whose words - maybe even just casually spoken, or whose example really hits home with someone and changes their thoughts or attitudes about something, makes them see things differently and more hopefully, or is a creative inspiration to them. On any given day that you interact with someone this is possible. And "ripple" or "butterfly" effect often happens. You might see it some times in action to some extent, but also might not. Not a very satisfying answer, but still is likely happening more than you may imagine.
Just looked up definition, and it's kind of cool to ponder. "Butterfly effect definition is - a property of chaotic systems by which small changes in initial conditions can lead to large-scale and unpredictable variation in the future state of the system."
Now I am pondering "Soooo ... what if there is a quota??!! Aw, man. What if we stay here til we meet a quota?!!"
I know your question is likely more rhetorical, and like I daid, no really solid answer, but at least there are theories to ponder and ones that let us observe the world differently as we look for where our butterflies touched down and look back at the butterfies that have touched our lives and changed our world in big and small ways.
Again, I am so sorry for your grief. A dozen HUGS. Likely that we all are feeling sorrow with you, too - it's a bipolar superpower. Superpower part being that you are not alone in sadness. <3
