i dont plan to be a permiante fix to peoples problems but sopport to help them feel better.

nice david. That is is agood way of thinking about it.

I tend to think of it a bit like witch trials. If you can do the stats and enjoy them you possibly won't be such a good practitioner psychologist. Good academic maybe.

Pure.... You can't fly off the handle to beepers. We will out fly you any second of any day of the week.

We can't say where you should or shouldn't be if you want to be on here for educational purposes that's awesome and I respect your desire to be a psychiatrist... But you have very little experience with beepers AND this site and you can't expect people to take you seriously and/or trust you right away.

Even experienced mental health practitioners have a hard time understanding people with mental illness, Its commendable to know that there are people out there interested in having such a profession, but somehow I've always secretly hoped that they would be bipolar too, so they can offer adequate help, compassion and understanding, something that unfortunately you do not posses unless you've experienced this illness first hand

    I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort.     Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner.  I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings.  But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
