Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. sorry PURE - you will have to realize that we are all more than a little wary of non-BPers offering us "advice" - because often we feel they don't know shit & are just talking out of their ass (forgive the colloquilisms). but if you want to hang out & are willing to listen to how beepers feel about BP and how we counsel each other (fairly successfully too, i might add), i think you will find this board very educational, and i think you will be a better psychologist & a better friend to the BP community for doing so.
I know what my friends and I have been through and there isn't anyone like you that can even hope of empathising.

Problem is that sometimes, just sometimes, we don't stop to check who people are and when we are totally out of it, you, 16yo that is not bipolar, just might give the wrong advice.
I expect before they let you get anywhere near people they will take you through a course on ethics, on being supervised on knowing your limits. Oh, and a year on statistics.
