I'm really struggling at the moment with my emotions. I feel like I'm a the end of my tether with all that has happened over the last few months. I have mentioned before that having an adequate support network is imperative to help me with my recovery journey. The fact is I have failed in developing one.
I am on my own most days without purpose or direction. Even though I have plans in the near future they don't seem to be close enough. I still have a few weeks to go before I start study and volunteering for Lifeline, When this eventuates it will at least get me to occupy my time and take my mind off what is going on at the moment. I basically feel like I am emotionally and mentally crippled. I want to be around people, but because I feel this way at the moment I don't think I would be good to be around nor do I think it would alleviate the emptiness I feel. Quite frankly I don't know what would help me, I'm really at a loss.
I don't want to put any pressure on Sharron to see me, especially when I am like this, but I really feel that she is my only option, but I know she is at the end of her tether as well. Our relationship has been so rocky I don't want to risk losing her completely. I found out what that was like for a few weeks and it almost literally killed me. Its not fair on her to take on the sole responsibility of trying to make me feel better in some way, I have to find other avenues of support so that I will be ok to be around, but I don't feel like this is happening. Like I said, I feel like I am at a loss, and at risk of making things even worse for myself.
Where can I get help? Who can I turn too? What the hell do I do?

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
In the past, it has always helped me to take the focus off myself for awhile. Volunteered at the library and sitting with old folks. Swimming has always been a good outlet, too. Start a new project - like painting something or building something. Cook something new.
I'm just turning in circles at the moment, trying to find one thing to be interested in. I think I'll just jump off into something and then think about it.
As for your Sharon - how about YOU make a picnic and call her up to meet you. Go to a second hand store and buy her a book. Talk to people while you are out and dig through all the treasures at the bookstore. Just a couple ideas. Think of some small token you can do for her and that gives you less time for your thoughts to run in circles - like mine are doing.
I NEED to take my own advice.
"Mentally Crippled" sound like you may need some medical intervention....xo
So, my point is, that a ripped boot maybe was an impulse buy (at least I can relate). just try to see something funny in it. maybe you and Sharron can talk about it together. just take a step back and breath
