Hi, I am new here. I thought I would say a little about myself. I have bipolar. Was finally diagnosised with it after being told for 20 years that I had depression. I am a mother of 7 kids that keep me busy. I hope to find friends on here that can relate to what I am feeling.

Just wanted to say that yeah, I have been in those shoes. I was misdiagnosed with depression for a long, long time. Throughout my young adult life in fact. Diagnosed correctly at 30. Spent a lot of time hypomanic before that due to the antidepressants. Now things are ok.
I have 4 kids...can't imagine 7. You go, girl. All of mine have BP too. A challenge, for sure. They are 20, 18, 16 almost 17, and 9. The 18 y.o moved out last month. So we are down to three at home.

This is a great place to be, loving and supportive. So settle in and get to know us. Welcome.
