Will I have a problem getting my disability- for crohn's disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, ulcears, acid reflux, bioplar I have applied and gotten a lawyer-- these are the meds that I am on now

I wouldn't think your diagnosis and meds would present any difficulty in being awarded disability.

I am trying I hope that my disability does not take any longer than six months at the most- i have heard some cases where it has only taken three months- but the system is so messed up now--

I would suggest that u keep very detailed records; a copy for u, a copy for ssi, a copy for your lawyer--very detailed--that is very important

our social security system is fucked up and it need mad attention and adjustment. Just never ever give up on you or your case.

Thanks my future I have a book that I keep everything in and I try to write in it everyday- i keep up with my sugar level blood pressure level bowel moments due to Crohn's acid reflux my journal about my days either good or bad -- all my medication and my side effect of my meds- and when i go to the emergency room i get copies of everything---

Good luck and make sure your current doctors are aware and are backing your support for disability. If not you get denied the first time and then have to go thru appeals like I'm having to do! So I started doing like MyFuture2011 says " a copy for my dr, a copy for me, a copy for my lawyer/ss" and I make sure every appointment that I give my pdoc a copy maybe we talk about what I wrote, then I go within 48 hours of my appointment and give the same info to my lawyer!

i got mine the first try without a lawyer. it was for bipolar only.

Um it sounds like you need disability to me. I have no idea why they could even deny you but I've been told we need to get a lawyer that's like the only way any one can get disability.

Thanks Doorknob I'm praying that I get it on the first try -- Jrnunleyir did you get it on your first try- I have been in the hospital twice- and this bipolar is not making it any better- I see things at night time- i hear things- some of my medication makes me feel like something is crawling on my skin- i shake in my sleep like im having seizures- i sometimes wake up outside trying to figure out how i got out there- i dont sleep at night but whn i do its always dreaming about monsters and snakes coming after me- i have dreams about time- my mind be racing- my thoughts are going a mile apart- I feel like I am so messed up right now

    Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
