Sorry I have not done this. As you all may know, my niece had a Seizure last Saturday. She is fine. It was a febril seizure because of her feaver, she has the croup. Well, she is well on her way to recovery and doing very well.

Our internet went out late Saturday and was just turned back on a little while ago. So, I have not been able to log on.

Thank you all for the good thoughts and prayers for little miss monkey mo. You guys are all awesome.

Thank you for the update and I am glad everything is going well.

That is exactly what happened to my son when he was 3. He was sick and his fever spiked so high it caused a seizure. The EMT stopped taking his temp at 105.5. When we got to the hospital, he recovered quickly and the fever broke within the hour. The doc told us then that a seizure in that case the seizure is triggered by the fever but also the body's way of protecting itself.

Awwww, no fair!!! She shouldn't have had to go through the croup, too!!! The seizure was more than enough!!!
I'm glad she's on the mend and doing well!!! (((Hugs)))

Yep, little kids and a high fever , can often lead to seizures .....fortunately ,mmost of the time there is no long term damage.

Glad to hear she is much better!
