Well I went to my depression support group today.I swear I dont know if it is even worht going to. I go there we share what happens in our week blh blah blah ect. I shared my week what happened and what not. I ended up crying my eyes out. Someone bought up a subjecy about relationships with family ect and I was thinking about my familey. It is disfunctional. I also bought up to about losing my mom and Ijust lost it. I know I still miss her and alsways will. I in a way think that I didnt grienve really. I dont know I have so many thoughts swirling around in my head,my head is liteally spinning, How do you make it stop? I did get a phone # of one of the girls in the group and we are going to call each other to see how we are doing. So thats one good thing I guess. My currentt living situation sucks and I am pissed about that to. I have such a headache from stressing I guess. Does anyone have any coping ways to cope with losing a parent? Also any coping ways for anxiety? I just feel like my life is one big mess and I dont know how to fix it or get out.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
I don't think we have to stop the swirling thoughts. (I like that...swirling.) But we should be able to slow them down with meds and mental techniques.
Sounds to me like you're on track to making things work.
I am so sorry about your Mom. My Dad died in Aug. 1999. I have cried millions of tears. Crying is a good thing to do. The pain lessens after years go by. May Jesus Christ comfort you, kittycat.
I come from a dysfunctional family, and then I made my own dys-
functional family. Of course, it wasn't just me; I had help.

I got a lot out of group therapy but it took a few months before I could really feel that it was helping me... I slowly saw really positive changes in myself..
Grief is so painful and it's a process that again takes time.. Allow yourself to grieve.. There is therapy specifically for grief it you wanted it..
I've lost both of my parents now and some things change us forever... Eventually though the good memories come back and can bring a smile to our faces..
Great big hug for you and a blessing..xo
Good luck.
