All I do is sit around and look off into space and make figure eights with my mouse. This is what my day consists of. I am on like 5 different meds but the pdoc says NOOO it can't be the side effects from them. I have lost the ability to spell and do simple math but NOOOO it's not the meds doing anything at all.. BULLSHIT! that is all...

Yep....it's the meds.

I mean , even if you Google your meds , and research them, most of them will mention cognitive impairment .

AND...they make us fat too !

AND , for gosh sakes, stay away from Topomax ....kindly called Dopeamax by most PdocS

my meds messed with me really bad. my husband once said that after I take my meds, my IQ lowers by 50 points

nick, just the other week i found a spatula in me bathroom. WTH??? lol. sticky notes are my best friend

I used to be able to remember all of the lines to a play, not just mine, but since the meds I can barely remember what I was doing just a second ago.... literally, its gotten so bad that even with sticky notes, I panic because I cant remember when I stuck them around. docs I think are full of bull**** and they are just fumbling around like the rest of us but they don't have the balls to admit it.

Yep damned if we do and damned if we don't. I tend to cut out meds on my own just to doctor myself. An advice a pdoc told me once.

Its the meds I cant spell my IQ drops I forget what I was gonna say all the time.

It is the meds. They have cognitive side effects. Mine sometimes upsets my ability to choose words or I forget words.

Just because we have these side effects doesn't mean we have lost our intelligence. We are still very intelligent and creative.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. Everyday I feel more and more sick. Being in pain every day, I've learned to disguise it. So well that others don't believe my pain when I speak of it. Needing help but only receiving negative responses, I find my way but pay for it later. I absolutely need the rest but there's pressing things to be done.
