My whole body has felt dead past week or so, struggling to leave the house and pretty much avoiding all human contact.
In a real hard position I have not worked since December and really need to find a job, but my confidence is rock bottom and I feel totally detached from life, I ache all over and just seem to stare into space.
I am awaiting my first mental assessment next Monday and there is then a further assessment with a consultant, I really want to get signed off, I have tried so hard to hold down a job, but after about 60 different ones, I think I have finally given up and don't want the stress anymore.
I am lucky to have my girlfriends support who works and covers us financially, but I feel like a bum not working and staying at home, it's kind of a catch 22, i guess I just want to get well and not have any further set backs. In my last job, I felt imprisoned and trapped and felt so anxious, first week was o.k and then I couldn't relate to anyone and withdrew into my own world, it made me ill again and I left this job also.
