Things in my life are so "F"ed up! I can't handle it!

I can't concentrate or focus for long on much of anything. I have no motivation not even to save my own skin. All I can do is sit in the corner balled up in the fetal position and rock back and forth muttering. All right exaggeration but I am staring into space a lot with out realizing for a while.

If any one is looking for me I"ll be in Lancaster PA sitting in a corner some where like a lunatic.

I know I need to call my doctor but I just can't. I can't pick up a phone. I know so stupid, but I just can't pick that phone up.

I need help I know I do.

And I"m not suicidal so the hospital won't take me.

I think it's good to accept it when we can't function to the extent of working, but please at least have somebody call the doc and set up an appointment for you. Unless we do take steps to get some care then things can go on and on and that's no fun.

As long as you are not suicidal...are you taking your meds ?

Maybe a little down time is needed...fetal position isn't so bad...just don't stay there too long .

Well I ran out of lamictal. I've been meaning to call but things have just kept spiraling out of control.

OK I did call the doctor and I can't get through! I get their message system and it says it's dialing that extension and then nothing happens! Dead air and no one answers!

Sorry you're feeling like this, DK. You may be going through withdrawal off lamictal... maybe if you can muster up the courage to call to refill it, you could call the Dr too? Think of what the next right healthy thing to do is, and go from there...

alright good news I've got an appointment for tomorrow.

Thank's guys I think it's thanks to posting this that gave me the courage to call the doctor.

I don't know what's wrong with me I'm a mess. My house is a mess my finances are in a mess, I haven't bathed in days. I don't seem too functional right now.

Lamictal has a lousy withdrawal sweetie.. That may be what it is??.. I'm so glad you're seeing your doc tomorrow..

i'm glad you got your appt set up. not functioning is hell. i can relate. does a hot bubbly long relaxing bath sound good? maybe make it a nice time for yourself and take the phone off the hook and just soak.
