Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Boundaries are important...If someone is overstepping and causing upset to your life I would address it.....if you aren't in therapy it could help a great deal with coping skills and assertiveness..
Baby steps are so often I have found what works the best when we aren't in the best place....
You'll probably get more response to your post if you re post in under the 'general bipolar' category... not too many people come up here...x
I was called bi polar sick o , freak and did you take your meds stuff . Once I realized that I was being or living in a form of abuse and being discriminated against I got a backbone .
The other thing I realized is that I have a lot of built up anger from the way I was being treated and affects the way I communicate with some people .
For me It was that I found it hard to trust people to treat me with respect and kindness not so much my judgment . Or you may feel being assertive is being a bad person , trust me its not .
