here are pics of my son jake who was murdered in sept of 2016 , and his son ( nick ) who was eight days old at the time of the killing but about a year old now . i just learned last week that the police know who the killer ( ess ) is and are getting their case prepared for the DA and grand jury . the relief in finding that out is huge . my chest muscles unwound about an hour after i found out and theyve been wound for over a year causing me everything from diaphragm pain to high blood pressure and palpitations . huge relief for such a small victory . looks like i might have even got a pic in of my ink tribute to jake .

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

look up stephen judy . my county put him to death in what must be the shortest time lapse in modern history .
indianapolis ' murder clearance rate is 42 % . our county boasts 95 % . bloomington indiana , 20 minutes south has never considered using the death penalty . my county will gleefully stick a needle in your arm .
whats almost comical is the person likely responsible for jakes death actually thinks she has swaggled the detectives . thats going to make the arrests even more gratifying .
ive thought about it a lot . justice and revenge are not interchangeable . justice is being held accountable for your actions . revenge is usually poorly thought out and in fact a vigilante act .
we had a woman a few years ago in our county who was mentally distressed . she drove onto a highway the wrong direction and killed ( i believe ) 6 people -- lots of kids . just based on negligence alone shes serving a 200 yr + sentence . glad i live in a place that holds people accountable when their actions hurt others .
judy kirby was her name .
the big question with young nick right now is who is going to raise him . myself and my ex ( still seperated ) are being considered . as much as id love rearing him and teaching him male skills ( im a good teacher ) , i would rather see him adopted into a young family who will provide him with a sense of normalcy . my ex wants the bay - bee to raise . i dont care what either of us want . i want what will give nick the best start in life . in some cases the grandparents can still play aunt and uncle to the kid . that would suit everyone imo . im a trike builder , carpenter , plummer , electrician , stone mason , engine builder , baker , wine maker , beekeeper , timber jack , etc . great variety of skills for any young man to learn . nicks horrible losses could turn into many faceted opportunity for him if good decisions are made . the home that jake and i built ( meant for jake ) could someday be transferred over to nick if im able to remain in his life and he shows interest in it , respects it and helps maintain it .
