After losing my Dad to cancer a few years back, my Mum was found to have dementia, we worked through the early years of the disease, she ended up in a nursing home, in Feb this year she finally passed, so I said goodbye to her again, with her not knowing who I was....the grieving is so different to when Dad passed, I ad been saying goodbye to her for 5 years as she slowly forgot everything...just feeling the need for a bit of support to make it past this stage

I am so very sorry for your loss dilli... My mom had Alzheimer's and I know how hard dementia can be... Big hug for you and a blessing...x
