Hi all, I have been absent from this site for a few months. You can say, I have tried to move on. I went to a Buddhist temple and listened to the master nun sermon for severall months now, and I learned how to remove suffering. I often have recurring dreams however of my mom and in all of them I think they are real and that my mom is still alive with me. Each time, I would come and hug her and tell her how much I miss her and love her. But each time, she never look at me nor talk to me. Has anyone have the same kind of dreams?

I haven't..... I've often wished I could have a dream of my family members who've passed.... Of course I want it to be a good dream

I do get dreams about my dad from time to time, I try not to analyze them other than to accept that it most likely is a reflection of me wanting to see him one more time.

I thought it was just me who had dreams of the person recently deceased. My sister and I were close. She worked across the street from my house and came by everyday to help me with my grandchildren. I started having dreams that she was asking me questions, talking to me in the hallway of my apartment or calling me telling me to come down stairs so we could go to a coffee house. The dreams were so real and then I would wake up and suffer from the grief again. It really does hurt most days to know we will never do those things again. God bless

Hi,

It's common to have dreams with content associated with the loss of a significant loved one. And dreams are meaningful but often difficult to understand or with strong emotion (processed through the subconscious). You may decide to write down what you dream of immediately after awakening. By recording in a journal, it may help you to determine if your dreams are normal or illogical ones. You may even become aware of certain relevant feelings. Generally, I wouldn't really pay much attention to highly charged or bizarre dreams though; only ponder through what seems as sensible and acceptable to you.

Hi, I have dreams of my mother, sometimes she talks to me but mostly doesn't. I had a recent dream that she was alive and okay and in the dream I was so happy and couldn't wait to tell everyone she was alive. Then I woke up and realized it was only a dream. I was so sad after that. It will be a year that she passed this week.

I have had a real dream as he just passed away yesterday I had a dream that it must happened. My dad passed away on may. 3 2017. I am having a real difficult time of his loss.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
