My angel mom had tons of pretty jewlery(costume)scarves etc I hadnt been able to go through it all.So this weekend my daughter came to visit from out of town I suggested she go through it and help herself. My daughter had a special realationship with mom and was clearly her favorite grandchild.Picking out certain pieces evoked such emotion within me-eg;when mom wore it ,her favorite etc.I miss her so much she was my best friend and I still cant believe shes gone. After having a good cry,I was exhausted and took a 2 hour nap

So I have been having a lot of health issues and my cardiologist felt that he didn't get clear enough images of my heart in the office, so he wanted to do a Trans-esophegeal heart Echocardiocgram in the hospital. I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...

I am sorry you lost your mother.
I saved the best clothes, jewelry and shoes. I still wear the clothes and jewelry and remember her. There is one ring of hers that I wear every day instead of my wedding ring. I have a box in a drawer of all of her jewelry that is too painful for me to wear.
It's good to save these keepsakes and give them to others who had a connection to the deceased. You are taking the right steps. If you have the space, save the stuff, you will enjoy looking through it later.
Once some time passed though I really loved to see my moms' possessions with others...
